Day eight was dedicated to wrapping up some nominating committee name recommendations for General Conference offices and a continued discussion on Church Policy Manual changes.

As the morning began, many were still expressing their opinions over the “No” vote on women’s ordination and what it means for the future of our church.

Day seven was dedicated solely to the issue of women’s ordination in the church. Delegates and attendees expressed much anticipation leading up to this day. The delegate section was full for the first time all Session, as was the audience section in the Dome. Many were actively engaged on Twitter as well.

Day six picked up where yesterday left off, with edits to the Fundamental Beliefs. One noticeable change from yesterday’s proceedings was the presence of Ella Simmons as chair of the meeting. Her presence was well-received by the Twitterverse.

Monday in the Alamodome revolved around two things - editing the Fundamental Beliefs and nominating officers/leaders of the World Church.

Right off the bat, delegates requested a larger font to better see the edits on screen. Their request was passed and people were pleased.
