Daniel Jackson Reelected North American Division President
The delegates of the 60th General Conference Session voted to reelect Daniel R. Jackson to serve as president of the North American Division (NAD), along with 12 other presidents of the 13 divisions that make up the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church. Jackson will serve another five years as the president of the NAD, a position he has held since 2010.
Jackson is a native Canadian and, with the exception of five years of service in the Southern Asia Division, has lived and ministered in the North American Division. He is a graduate of Canadian Union College (now Burman University) and Andrews University, from which he holds an M.A. in Religion in Systematic Theology.
During his career, Dan has served the church as a pastor, teacher and administrator. Dan and his wife, Donna, enjoy the three children and four grandchildren the Lord has given them.
