Wonder – it’s a human quality we seem to be able to lose very quickly. Cynicism builds up and our capacity to wonder seems to fade. This week’s feature short films all deal with wonder of some sort, from the amazing video that gives us a first hand experience of whizzing around the planet in the international space station, to Mongolian nomads seeing photographs of themselves for the very first time, to the delicate, normally invisible actions of a puppeteer manipulating his creation for a stop-motion project.
