What might Adventism achieve if we agreed upon God’s grace, accepted all identities in Christian solidarity, pursued new truths, and applied those truths to our present moral issues? It might feel like heaven.
If the prodigal son can go out and live the way he was living, then come back and get more than what the older brother ever had, what is the point?
To label this church as conservative or traditional would misrepresent a community who loves deeply through action, just as a familia does. Perhaps there's an opportunity to balance preserving tradition and embracing continued spiritual growth.
