Rolf J. Pöhler will present “Revisiting the Gospel: a Plea for Exegetical & Theological Discernment.”

Dr. Pöhler studied theology in Germany and the United States, earning a Master of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Theology degree from Andrews University. His dissertation discussed “Continuity and Change in Seventh-day Adventist Theology." He has worked as a pastor, departmental director, and church president in Germany. In 1992, he was called to teach at Friedensau Adventist University in Germany, where he was appointed Professor of Systematic Theology, a position he retains after retiring in 2014. Pöhler is an internationally renowned speaker, and an author and editor of several books and numerous articles.
