(10:30 a.m. Pacific / 12:30 a.m. central / 1:30 p.m. eastern)

Michael Scofield will present “Adventist Higher Education” for Sabbath Seminars at Loma Linda University Church on Saturday, December 9, with a response by Larry Geraty.

Scofield has lectured widely on organizational and management issues in the US and England and is a frequent commentator on the state of Adventist institutions. This report looks at the alarming trend of declining enrollment at several Adventist colleges in North America.

Sabbath Seminars is a welcoming spiritual community and ministry that explores life’s big questions using the tools of reason, biblical study, human experience, and Christian heritage. The class meets Saturday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to discuss topics of religion, theology, science, and philosophy. Attendees can expect a presentation of 20–40 minutes followed by vigorous discussion open to all. For more information, see:
