(10:30 a.m. Pacific / 12:30 a.m. central / 1:30 p.m. eastern)

Jonathan Butler will present “A Report from the Recent Ellen White Meeting of Adventist Historians” for Sabbath Seminars at Loma Linda University Church on Saturday, December 2.

Our class leader Jim Walters joined with many others to participate in an invitation-only meeting to consider the future role of Ellen White in Adventism. Legendary Adventist historian Jonathan Butler was tasked with writing a statement from the meeting and will be our presenter this Sabbath. For more on this meeting, see the Spectrum news release.

Sabbath Seminars is a welcoming spiritual community and ministry that explores life’s big questions using the tools of reason, biblical study, human experience, and Christian heritage. The class meets Saturday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to discuss topics of religion, theology, science, and philosophy. Attendees can expect a presentation of 20–40 minutes followed by vigorous discussion open to all. For more information, see: https://sabbathseminars.net/.
