John Brunt: “Should We Confess the Sins of Our Ancestors?” at Faith & Reason Sabbath School

(10:00 a.m. eastern / 9:00 a.m. central / 7:00 a.m. Pacific)

This Sabbath, John Brunt presents “Should We Confess the Sins of Our Ancestors?

John has recently re-retired but continues to preach and write. Several Sabbaths ago, he preached at Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church for the “Sabbath Festival." His most recent book, Finding Joy, is available on Amazon. It is a study of Philippians but could just as well be the title of his memoir, given his joyful renaissance life as scholar, pastor, administrator, preacher, and active member of the Faith & Reason Sabbath School class.

Faith and Reason Sabbath School meets Sabbath, September 9, 10:00 am. Socializing starts at 9:30.

If you would like to attend this class via Zoom, email to request the link.

Upcoming Sabbaths:

September 30 Vaughn Nelson presents on “Food Formations: The Perils and Promises of Adventist Eating." Adventist eating habits are not just about health and nutrition, but also creation care and environmental justice. Vaughn pastored for 14 years and is currently a PhD candidate in practical theology at Boston University.
