John Brunt: “Finding Joy in Paul’s Letter to the Philippians” at CZSS

John Brunt will present “Finding Joy in Paul's Letter to the Philippians” for the Choir Zoom Sabbath School at Pacific Union College on Saturday, October 21.
The class will take a brief look at Brunt's book, Finding Joy: Paul's Encouraging Message to the Philippians, and will then move to a discussion of some of the main themes in the letter and some of its problematic passages.
Brunt spent most of his 50 years of ministry in Adventist higher education, serving at Walla Walla University for 31 years, including as dean of the School of Theology and vice president for Academic Administration. He holds a PhD from Emory University in New Testament studies. He retired in 2015 as senior pastor of the Azure Hills Seventh-day Adventist church in Grand Terrace, California.
