Gugulethu Nyoni: “Adventism in Africa & Embracing Equality” at the Asheville Forum

(3:00 p.m. eastern / 2:00 p.m. central / noon Pacific)

Gugulethu Nyoni will present "Adventism in Africa & Embracing Equality" at the Zoom Asheville Forum chapter meeting on Saturday, July 29. All are invited.

About the presentation:

The speaker has been invited to reflect broadly on the Adventist Church across the African continent with special attention to its role in the global denomination. The three divisions across the continent represent nearly half of total church membership, a comparatively youthful church with thriving educational institutions. Nyoni will also address the perceptions and misperceptions North American Adventists may hold about Adventism in these diverse divisions.

Gugulethu (Gugu) Nyoni is a Zimbabwean developmental economist and an information and communications technology entrepreneur based in Pretoria, South Africa. He is a passionate thinker and speaker on religion and society.
