Choir Zoom Sabbath School July 6: “California Adventist Stories: Fun Finds in the Archives”

The Choir Zoom Sabbath School meets this Saturday, July 6, beginning at 9:30 AM, Pacific. Jim Wibberding presents “California Adventist Stories: Fun Finds in the Archives”.

Did you know that St. Helena Adventists helped build the Press and Hospital before they built a church? Did you ever hear that women led our church in San Diego for its first decade? Did you learn about how Pastor Roderick Owen saved PUC? You are invited to surf the archives to experience these and other California Adventist tales.

Dr. Wibberding is chair of the PUC Theology Department. He specializes in Applied Theology and Biblical Studies. Jim served as a pastor for seventeen years in Pennsylvania, Idaho, and Washington before joining the faculty of the Theology Department in 2017. Jim has also taught as Adjunct Professor to the DMin program at Andrews University and the MTS program at La Sierra University.
