About the Topic:
Dr. Price will address the history of race/racial divide in Asheville and how history's remnants continue to impact raising teenagers today.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Kimberly Price is an educator, parent, and Christian who is active is Bethel Adventist Church, Asheville, and whose aim is to show God's love for all people. With a Ph.D. in health education, she has devoted her career to reducing inequities in health for disadvantaged communities through her work in academia, community engagement, and faith-based setting.
