Asheville Adventist Forum Presents Ronald Lawson

The Asheville Adventist Forum presents:

"Comparing Mormons, Adventists, and Witnesses in Mexico, 2000-2010: Contrasting their Growth, Who they Baptized and Retained, and the Reliability of their Data"  with Ronald Lawson, PhD.

Sabbath, November 17, 2018, at 2:30 p.m.

Ron, whose doctorate is in both history and sociology (University of Queensland, Australia), is known for his study of global Adventism. He is releasing his papers on Adventism on his website, www.RonaldLawson.net, so that they can be available to interested Adventists. Ron taught at the City University of New York for 38 years from 1971 through 2009. He was also a member of the Metro New York Adventist Forum from 1971-2015, and its president for 41 years from 1974-2015. During those years, when he visited cities where there was not a Forum chapter he tried to call meetings after which chapter leaders were elected. Some of the cities where his initiative created chapters include Sydney and Melbourne, Australia; Toronto, Canada; San Diego, California; and Orlando, Florida.
