Reminder: Leaving Church and Babette's Feast for July's Book & Film Club

Just a reminder of this month's Book & Film Club selections are Leaving Church: A Memoir of Faith by Barbara Brown Taylor and Babette's Feast.  

Leaving Church will be reviewed by Lainey S. Cronk. (I'm right in the middle of reading this book and finding it excellent.)

Babette's Feast will be reviewed by Scott Moncrieff.

Note: This was the only film that made both Scott Moncrieff and Winona Winkler Wendth list of films every Adventist should see in last fall's Spectrum journal.

The discussion starts July 31.

P.S. For those of you who missed seeing Lars and the Real Girl
(this month's film selection), I apologize. There was a miscommunication with the reviewer. Keep your thoughts though--we'll post this as a "normal" review this month. It's too good a film to pass up. Happy reading and viewing!
