The 2010 General Conference Session represents a new high mark for delegate counts, with 2,410 people slated to vote on agenda items.

“Big Tent Adventism” describes what Adventist Forum dreams for Adventism—an open church where all members are welcome. So it is the concept around which the Spectrum booth is planned for the General Conference Exhibit Hall.

Supporters of women’s ordination have been ruing the decision of the thirteen division presidents to keep the issue off the agenda of this year’s General Conference session, even though few can have believed that, if female ordination were debated and brought to a vote, it would have passed.

At the 1866 General Conference Session on May 17 a series of resolutions passed by the Battle Creek Church were read. These resolutions included the following statement:
