1. The Adventist Church has lost its court case in Kenya asking that SDA students attending public schools be excused from attending Saturday classes.

2. In Lake City, Utah, Seventh-day Adventist Church head pastor George Worrell has defended his church’s nativity display, which was criticized for being too graphic.  The display includes a scene representing Herod’s order to kill baby boys.

3. Loma Linda University Medical Center has begun treating end-stage macular degeneration patients with a telescope implant, allowing them to regain sight.
