Updates from the Pacific Union Conference Constituency Meeting

Southeastern California Conference reports on the Pacific Union Conference’s constituency meeting via Alicia Adams, editor of the Pacific Union Recorder.

All four Pacific Union officers re-elected: Ricardo Graham, president; Bradford Newton, executive secretary; Arnold Trujillo, vice president; Theodore Benson, treasurer.

Two ethnic ministry coordinators re-elected: Bobby Mitchell, Regional; Jorge Soria, Hispanic. Elected also was VicLouis Arreola, Asian/Pacific, to replace George Atiga, who retired.

The Pacific Union Conference 2011 quinquennial constituency session is being Monday, August 29 and is chaired by North American Division President Dan Jackson. The PUC communication office posted the picture below and notes that Graham was first elected president by the Pacific Union Executive Committee in 2008. “Our priorities during the next five years will be Reaching Up—that’s revival and reformation,” says Graham, “and Reaching Out—community outreach and evangelism.” “Prayer and effort, effort and prayer,” says Graham. “Ellen White says all God’s power is there for us, just a whisper away. That’s our plan of action.”
