Today the Seventh-Gay Adventists film has made it to iTunes (English-speaking territories) and is available on iTunes for $7.99. Producer Daneen Akers says the prices have intentionally been kept low to make sure anyone who wants to engage with these stories can.

The film, which follows three gay Adventist couples, has been shown in special screenings and film festivals around North America and further abroad for the past two years.

Jan Paulsen Speaks About Ordination as TOSC Meets for Final Session

This week, the Theology of Ordination Study Committee convenes for its fourth and final meeting to discuss the ordination of women. The study committee will finalize a report to the General Conference, which will be reviewed and discussed at the 2014 Annual Council. The Annual Council will decide what to refer to the 2015 General Conference Session in San Antonio, Texas. The Adventist News Agency (APD) in Switzerland today published a story about Jan Paulson, and his comments on women's ordination. Methodist Church May Split Over Sexuality Issues

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is not the only church struggling with issues of sexuality and church doctrine. An article from Religion News Service reports that a group of 80 pastors from the United Methodist Church, the second-largest Protestant denomination in the US, says a split in the church is imminent.

Many readers are likely somewhat familiar with Fritz Guy’s thinking regarding Genesis One, with some of this having been developed in recent years through books and articles available to Spectrum readers.
