Ted Wilson Is the Next President of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists

Today, with no discussion from the floor, the Nominating Committee selected Ted N. C. Wilson to be the next president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
In his first speech, he emphasized that, “this is the remnant church.” He called for “revival and reformation.” Quoting from Selected Messages by Ellen White, he said that our first work is to seek a revival of personal godliness.
Calling for both personal and corporate humility in the church, he said that he hoped to learn the phrase “Jesus is coming soon” in many languages in the next five years.
Introducing his wife, he said his wife is his spiritual backbone because she loves the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy.
He concluded by emphasizing humility as a needed virtue in the church and called again for “revival and reformation.”
