I was at the L.A. vs. WAR underground gallery show on Sat night. Most of the pieces didn't have explicit context.
There is a lot of context setting on this site and sometimes, while a journey in the unknown, it's good to give our readers a chance to explore their own consciousness to see what parameters for interpretation lie within.

Is this done by a film school student? I have basically zero familiarity with that scene and, at the risk of spoiling your intentions for self-discovery from the readers, would love to be told what all that meant.
I am looking forward to hearing from you how critical studies are done on film, specifically this one, since I understand it is related to your graduate work.
I appreciate being confronted with something totally foreign to me. This is a cultural field trip on the Spectrum blog! Really, thanks!
