| Friday Film | Friendship has no religion

H/t to Ryan Bell.

Adventist screenwriter Christoph Silber, a native East German, who was a screenplay consultant for Goodbye Lenin (2003) has a new film playing in New York. Those of you who attended the Adventist Forum conference in 2004 may remember meeting him

This new film is about two young women — one an Orthodox Jew, the other Muslim — who meet and become friends as first-year teachers at a public school in Brooklyn. Over the course of the year they learn they share much in common, not least of which is that they are both going through arranged marriages.
