Three Angles News: Adventist Health Settles Whistle-blower Suit

Adventist Health System/Sunbelt Inc., the parent company of Orlando-based Florida Hospital, has settled a whistle-blower lawsuit alleging systematic overcharging at seven Adventist Health hospitals. The lawsuit could have brought damages in excess of $100 million according to one report.

1. A lightning strike killed eight worshippers during a Sabbath service at an Adventist church in Lilongwe, Malawi.  Several other members were injured in the incident.
