Three Angles News – Napa SDA School Reopened After Earthquake

1. Napa Christian Campus of Education, an Adventist  K-12 SDA school, was severely damaged by the August 24, 2014 6.0 earthquake in California. With the help of many volunteers, the school reopened on Tuesday, September 2, but the gymnasium is yellow-tagged, and repairs at the campus will cost $200,000.

2. Ben Carson, Adventist neurosurgeon and author of One Nation, suggested in a TV interview that football player Ray Rice, who lost his job after a video of him punching his then-fiance was released, should not be “demonized.”

3.The Fox Valley Seventh-day Adventist Community Church in Neenah, Wisconsin, has arranged to host a community forum regarding the militarization of local police forces.  The church is providing a neutral space for community members to discuss the issues.
