Two Live Events This Weekend

This will be an important weekend for Adventists in the Pacific Union Conference as delegates will convene to consider two measures that would allow ordination without regard to gender. On Sunday, August 19, beginning at 1:00pm, the Pacific Union Conference Special Session will be streamed live, and Spectrum will provide up to the moment coverage and analysis in our live blog as the event unfolds.

On Saturday, August 18, in advance of the PUC session, the Loma Linda University Church will host an informative session for constituents and delegates in the Southeastern California Conference. The Saturday session, which begins at 4:00pm will feature presentations by Brad Newton, Ivan Blazen, John Brunt, Gerald Winslow, Bert Haloviak and SECC pastors. Live video streaming will be available for the event at www.lluc.org. Spectrum will provide a live blog of the meeting.

Leaders for both meetings have called for times of prayer and fasting in anticipation of pivotal conversations for the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
