Tornado Devastates Adventist School

A deadly tornado ripped through communities in Southern Oklahoma leaving rubble in its wake. Ardmore Adventist Academy was among the numerous structures destroyed. The school served twenty-five students from grades 1-10. In addition to the loss of the school building and gymnasium, the tornado also flattened a pecan orchard leading up to the school’s proprty.

Unseasonably warm weather helped to create the tornadoes, which are uncommon during the month of February in Oklahoma.

According to its website, the infamous Westboro Baptist Church, notorious for their “God hates fags” campaign, has targeted funeral services in Ardmore as a venue for staging a demonstration. The announcement on the church’s website states:

Grace Baptist Church – God Sent The Tornado, Thank Him! 2810 Mount Washington Road “dear friends, my wonderful parents, and my loving partner and fiance, Michael.? These were the beginning words from the mouth of the filthy ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION called Rev. Scott Jones from the Cathedral of Hope, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the Legislative Prayer Session. Yes! You read that correctly, Oklahoma propped up a FILTHY FAG “preacher” in the place where he ought NOT have been. Now they stand and scratch their feces-crusted chin and wonder why God kicked their dumb asses again with a tornado! We will be in Ardmore on their high holy day of Valentine’s day. A beautiful time to remind them that GOD HATES YOU; YOU’RE GOING TO HELL; GOD IS YOUR ENEMY; DON’T WORSHIP THE DEAD; ETC. Jeremiah 23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

There have not been any Adventists among the reported fatalities from the tornadoes in Ardmore and Lone Grove.

Some time ago I was sitting in what quite possibly was the most boring church service I have ever been in. (No, I won’t tell you where I was.) There couldn’t have been more than 50 people in the sanctuary, and I’m being generous. We sang no less than 5 hymns. All hymns were sung in a dry, slow manner. The sermon seemed uninspired, barely prepared, and was presented with no sense of conviction. It felt like we were in church for three hours. We were in church for about 70 minutes.
