Ted Wilson Begins This Year’s Evangelism Focus in New York

In this amateur video Ted Wilson speaks at a January rally in New York City preparing for the NY13 evangelistic campaign. The world Seventh-day Adventist leader will be spending part of his summer, June 7-29, preaching a five-days a week Revelation of Hope evangelistic series at a church in Greenwich Village.

His recent appearance at the Manhattan Church of Seventh-day Adventist (sic) also garnered this report: “Pastor Ted Wilson, the head of the world church of Seventh-day Adventists, had his roots here in New York City, having gone to school at New York University and having served in a grassroots ministry in the early 1970‘s reaching out to young people in this bohemian, leading edge Greenwich Village neighborhood. He recalled how he and a group of young people, including the current church Pastor Tony Romeo, created a cool place for young people in the community to “hang out” while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.”

More than 400 campaigns are registered according to NAD NewsPoints. “We solicit your prayers for metropolitan New York City and for each church, pastor, visiting evangelist and our members as we engage in this most significant outreach project of building up the kingdom of God,” said Dr. Don King, Atlantic Union Conference President.
