St. Helena Hospital Renamed Adventist Health St. Helena – News Shorts

St. Helena Hospital Renamed Adventist Health St. Helena. St. Helena Hospital has been renamed Adventist Health St. Helena and has adopted a new mission statement. The name will align St. Helena with 21 Adventist Health hospitals on the West Coast, covering Oregon, Washington, California and Oahu. According to Steven Herber, the hospital's president and CEO, the new mission statement, "broadens our focus from solely caring for the sick to helping communities be healthier. It reflects our heritage of providing physical, mental, and spiritual care and compels us to break down the walls of a traditional health system and extend our reach more deeply into the community.” Adventist Health is focused on the importance of “systemness” across its 21 sites and 275 clinics. Leveraging shared tools and resources across all of its facilities frees up local sites so each one can utilize its resources on meeting the health and wellness needs of the community, a news release said. From the Napa Valley Register, “St. Helena Hospital adopts a new name, mission statement.”

At the moment, I couldn't find it to help myself, and God has opened a door for me. I thank the guys also for being here for me. I don't know how I would cope if it weren't for the church, but with Christ in the vessel, you can smile at the storm," Denton said while smiling. Thousands of young men and women affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church gave back to their community by participating in these projects.
